Advertising and Google services
DogSafe uses Google AdSense to fund free content. Google and its partners may collect or receive information from this site and use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, personalize, and measure ads, limit repeated ads, and detect fraud. In regions where advertising consent is required, DogSafe uses Google’s certified consent-management message.

Service providers
We use service providers only for defined business purposes, including:
- Vercel for hosting, delivery, security, diagnostics, and privacy-focused web analytics.
- Google for AdSense advertising and, when you consent, Google Analytics 4.
- Stripe for subscription checkout, payment processing, and billing management.
- Auth.js, Upstash, and Resend for account sessions, stored account data, and sign-in email delivery.
These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their own contractual, security, and legal safeguards. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
Legal bases and your choices
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform a contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing DogSafe, to meet legal obligations, or with your consent. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through . Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, manage Google advertising choices through My Ad Center, and unsubscribe or cancel a paid plan through the account billing portal. Blocking essential storage may prevent account or dog-profile features from working.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to provide an account or subscription, meet tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security records. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. DogSafe does not sell personal information for money. Some laws may define personalized advertising as “sharing” or a “sale”; the advertising and cookie controls described above are available to limit that activity.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@dogsafer.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection or consumer-privacy authority.
Children’s privacy
DogSafe is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
